Australia Division

The Australia Division has a useful role in generating awareness for our community in west Africa, and running the operational basis of Étoile.

On the 25th May 2025, The Australia Division of The Étoile Foundation hosted their first global awareness event - ‘The Étoile Wellness Morning’ based in Adelaide, South Australia! The event was hosted by Isabella Carrozzi, Isabella Burgess and Velouria Wild.

The event celebrated Menstrual Hygiene Day, which was on the 28th of May 2024, commemorating the 28 days in a menstrual cycle. In 2024, #MHD celebrated 10 years of speaking up with the theme being “together for a #periodfriendlyworld”. Throughout the event, Étoile aimed to bring the community together to end the stigma and taboo around menstrual health, and raise awareness for out initiatives and young girls in Côte d’Ivoire.

The event began with a 3km walk along the beautiful Henley Beach esplanade and finished at the Henley & Grange Community Centre. The participants arrived to receive a copy of our exclusive ‘Étoile Times’ newsletter and a sparkling water refreshment from our friends at Sodasmith. Everyone then completed a tough mat Pilates class with booty bands, led by local pilates instructor, Paige Bramley (@pilateswithpaigey).

The participants then indulged in a Wellness Morning Tea consisting of a superfoods yoghurt bowl bar with thanks to Charlesworth Nuts for granola and Bidfood for greek yoghurt, a fruit arrangement thanks to Tony & Marks, and sweets bar, along with incredible homemade carrot cake made by Nonna Burgess. Our guests were treated with various drinks from our innovative sponsors Drink Ārepa: brain performance drinks, and Naked Harvest greens: Australian female-founded natural supplement brand. We also served coffee thanks to our skilled volunteer Barista’s and café support: Jordan, Josh and Cameron.

The guests all received an exclusive Étoile branded gift bag with some incredible goodies thanks to our gift sponsors!
