  • 100% of girls in Côte d’Ivoire miss one day of school per month due to menstruation, and 52% miss three days a month.

  • It takes one disposable pad 500-800 years to break down in landfill.

what we do

The Étoile Foundation is a global non-profit organisation improving the overall menstrual health and hygiene literacy rates of young women in Côte d’Ivoire, across Australia and globally.

We have three pillars of impact - We teach girls, we build a community, and we manufacture and donate direct-from-source sustainable and environmentally-friendly menstrual products.
